WHERE:
Studio rehearsal room at 6th Street. (Not the big theatre (first door) - but the middle door. The furthest door on the right is the Dance Studio.)
WHAT TO BRING:
Bring your tap shoes/dance shoes, water, a snack (if you need one), clothes appropriate to dance in, a notepad & pen/pencil, and anything else you'd need for taking notes.
BLOCKING NOTES:
I'm going to stress this now - if you don't already have a system, figure a system out for writing down your blocking!
LATE POLICY:
If you think you might be more than 10 seconds late, pull over, and text me. NOT EMAIL!!! I mostly don't open my computer until at least 15 minutes into rehearsal. If you don't have texting capabilities, you can call, but I will be in rehearsal, so picking up the phone and talking to you means that I have to stop what I'm doing, so please try to text.
PUNISHMENT FOR LATENESS/NON-COMMUNICATION.
If you either do not text me to let me know you are late, or you are more than 7 minutes late without a previously agreed upon conflict, or there is a legitimately time-sensitive emergency, YOU OWE THE CAST & CREW TREATS. (This can be a fruit tray, cookies, candy, etc.) You gots to pay for your sins!
SHOES:
LADIES: You'll be buying normal nylons, black heeled character shoes & black heeled tap shoes.
MEN: Black jazz dance shoes or black dress shoes. Something you can dance in.
